Depart from the historic Campo de ‘Fiori and meet some producers of the shops that overlook the square. Taste local products such as tasty ham, delicious cheeses, truffle canapés, seasonal fruit and other fresh products. Send them down with a few sips of some of the region’s renowned wines.
Then continue towards the Jewish Ghetto. Visit the Roman ruins and historic buildings such as the Tempio Maggiore in Rome. Taste one of the best pizzas in the city along with some delicacies such as zucchini flowers and supplì (rice balls usually made with tomato and mozzarella).
It ends at the point where Julius Caesar was assassinated. Try one of the best ice-creams in Rome at a family-run ice-cream bar.
